CFMC Picnic
Bunker Hill - Grove #5 - June 6th
The CFMC members had a well-planned picnic even though it was cool and light rain. The food was great and the social interaction was superb. We all had a good time. We may get a report from Bob KB9SAR who did a great job in planning and executing the event. Pictures from some of the participants will be added in the next few days.
I would like to thank Tina KC9CMO
who assisted me in organizing the event from dealing with the Cook
County Forest Preserve in the beginning, all the way to the
refreshments on the day of. I also want to extend thanks to Don W9DMW
& Rick Duel W9XB "Radio Rick" for stepping up and working the
Grill. Also special Thanks goes to Steve K9VO & Lynne N9CBE for
staying all the way to the end of the event for the clean up. We had
about 56 members with guests show up overall.
Those who didnt make it .. you really missed out.
