CFMC participates in ARRL Field Day 2020!
On June 27th and the 28th of 2020, CFMC had their annual ARRL summer field day.
The field day location was at the Santa Fe Prairie Nature Preserve, near the town of Hodgkins which is located by I55 and 294.
We installed all wire antennas, working HF SSB and FT8.
Our station was a class 3A.
CFMC was using the W9C call sign for field day.

Our attendance for this event was about 15 people; not bad for a COVID-19 year.
There was plenty of good food, good friends, and of course good radio!
We built a nice bond fire for our night time radio contesting.

The Chicago FM club would like to thank all those
who participated in this years 2020 summer field day.
