Established in 1965… The Chicago FM Club (CFMC) boasts a roster of over 150 members strong, from all over the Chicagoland area and beyond. With a vast array of coverage from our Six area Repeaters, we are much more than a “Repeater Club”. CFMC is proud to host one of Chicagoland’s biggest and best Ham Fests… Radio Expo; Held in September each year, check our Calendar for details. CFMC Members enjoy a comradery both On-Air and IRL. The Chicago FM Club (CFMC) was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization on February 25, 1965. Today is a good day to remember our founding members.

Monthly Club Meeting – February 26, 2025

Chicago Police Station 5151 North Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL 60630 There is ample street parking as well as parking on the Second Floor Only of the PD parking structure. Field Day 2025

Field Day will be held on June 28 and 29. Field Day is ham radio’s open house. Every June, more than 40,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio’s science, skill and service to our communities and our nation. It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event.
