The marathon this year is on Sunday, October 11. We draw on the ham community from many states, not just Illinois. Most people work as small radio team with 4 or 5people — and many of those are teams supported by a single club (Thank you Club supporters). Those positions represent about 70% of our volunteers. Other hams work in specialized areas like Pre-finish, or roaming triage or other task related groups. We work as communicators, not as medical volunteers.
