Thomas J. Wilkus, age 62, passed away on May 7, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Tom enjoyed writing and listening to music for many hours, The Beatles being #1 on his list. His love of music was first shared with his mom. He continued to share his passion for music/guitar with his sons. He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago White Sox fan.
Tom loved dogs and they were a definite part of the family during his life. Tom cherished his time with family and friends; including his friends at the local bars and fellow Ham Radio Operators. Those who knew him would agree he was one of the most giving people they knew.
Tom is survived by his caring former spouse and best friend, Terri Wilkus. Proud father of Tom and Ryan Wilkus. Loving brother of Rich (Connie) Wilkus, Brad Wilkus, Carol Duncan (Wilkus), and the late Bob Wilkus. Dear son of the late Joseph and Virginia Wilkus. Loving uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.
He will be greatly missed, but he is no longer in pain.
