On July 27th, 2023 five of us, Paul N9ISP, Barry K9FMB, Bill KD9TWA, Mark N9OWE, and Bill N9WRP, met at Illinois Beach State Park, K-1000, for an informal Parks “On The Air, POTA” outing. We operated low power voice and digital, made lots of contacts, and successfully “activated” the park. Despite the fact that FM is right there in the middle of our FM club name, we also do other types of radio operations.
