Arthur G. “Artie” Waner, age 69. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Beloved husband of Denise C. (nee Hurt). Loving father of Andrew Waner, stepfather of Jennifer Sefl and the late Emma Lee Baum. Dear grandfather of Riley Rogers. Dear son of the late John L. and the late Anna (nee Kusek) Waner. Beloved brother of Joan (late Alfred) Roman, James Sr. (Marion) and Linda Waner. Fond uncle and cousin to many.
Artie retired as a HVAC Inspector for the City of Chicago, an active member of Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade, TFT #47.
He was an Advanced Class Ham Radio operator – call sign WB9DQT, an avid Carnival Cruiser – Diamond Level, an avid NASCAR fan, and a repeat offender of Facebook Jail.

Visitation Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home 5749 Archer Ave. (Corner of Lorel). Funeral Monday May 2, 2022 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady of the Snows Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Commital prayers to follow at the Resurrection Cemetery.
